Winterfest 2016
Project Leaders: Winterfest Planning Committee / Tri-town Recreation Department
Our Katahdin is pleased to support the collaboration of the Fin and Feather Club of Maine, the Katahdin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club in an effort to raise funding for television commercial production and air time for the area's annual Winterfest!
The goal of the project will be to create three, 15-second commercial advertisements that will promote the Katahdin Area's annual Winterfest event.
Please note: The Winterfest Planning Committee will be able to use these commercials annually, with minimal editing, for years to come.
This year’s “Winterfest” (February 12-21, 2016) will feature a snowmobile parade through downtown Millinocket, antique snowmobile show, and a family fishing day at Jerry Pond. There will be over 350 miles of groomed, scenic snowmobile trails, as well as free cross-country ski and snowshoe trails to enjoy.
